About the author: Barrett Klein is an entomologist and artist who explores the mysteries of insect sleep, creates entomo-art, and explores how humans connect with our six-legged allies. He studied entomology at Cornell and the University of Arizona, worked on natural history exhibits for the American Museum of Natural History, researched honey bees for his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin. He later led the Pupating Lab at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Klein believes that embracing the beauty of insects can enrich our lives and our world.
