Sustainability Specialist & Retail Lead (Full-Time)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Open/close store
  • Drive sales through knowledgeable, friendly customer service and sustainable product education
  • Build relationships with clients through environmental discussion, mutual cause, and genuine care
  • Help customers understand and choose natural products across herbal wellness, home care, personal care, gardening, art supplies, yoga, and more
  • Maintain store organization and merchandising standards
  • Restock and maintain displays
  • Learn and use the store’s product knowledge database
  • Support workshops, events, and seasonal displays when needed

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Interest in herbalism, sustainability, or natural products
  • Enjoys talking with customers and sharing knowledge
  • Curious and eager to learn about sustainable living
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable working independently in a small boutique environment

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • College education in environmental science or sustainability preferred but not required
  • Industry and supervisory experience a plus

E-Commerce Coordinator (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Location: Cape May, NJ (must live locally and be able to commute)
Schedule: ~15 hours per week | Hybrid (in-store + remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, self-directed team member to support our growing retail and online presence. This hybrid role blends hands-on fulfillment and stockroom management with digital merchandising, product storytelling, and email marketing. You’ll help manage the end-to-end online customer experience—from receiving inventory to the moment a package reaches a customer’s door.

In-Store Responsibilities

  • Pack and ship all online orders accurately and efficiently
  • Make deliveries and drop off packages to shipping carriers
  • Photograph products and marketing materials
  • Collaborate with in-store team on fulfillment management

Remote Responsibilities

  • Write compelling product descriptions aligned with brand voice
  • Edit and upload product images
  • Maintain digital merchandising and product organization on the website
  • Support email marketing content and setup
  • Help optimize the online customer journey from discovery to delivery
  • Handle customer service issues related to fulfillment and shipping

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Fast learner who can follow brand guidelines closely
  • Background or interest in digital merchandising and marketing
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar platforms preferred
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator a plus
  • Comfortable balancing physical tasks with creative digital work
