Original “Apothecary & Treasures” Painting by Lauren DeMarco

Local artist, Lauren DeMarco teamed up with Good Deeds Market on this exclusive collaboration.  The artwork was made from thrifted books, upcycled fabric scraps, and natural earth acrylik paints.

Lauren DeMarco is a mixed media fine artist based in New Jersey, working primarily with collage and acrylics. Rooted in resourcefulness, her practice often involves reimagining familiar subjects or upcycling everyday materials to evoke a sense of nostalgia—especially memories tied to home, gardens, and the sea.

Guided by emotion and a romantic sensibility, she explores the beauty in imperfection and the quiet tension between hard and soft. Her work celebrates detail and texture, inviting viewers into intimate moments that feel warm, hopeful, and deeply personal.

She resides in a cozy, humble home just outside of Ocean City with her husband and two kids.
